Água Viva
“Água Viva” is a sketch inspired by Clarice Lispector’s novel of the same name. The drawing depicts a figure partially submerged in a pond surrounded by lily pads and dense vegetation.
Like Lispector’s book, the sketch is concerned less with telling a story and more with capturing an experience as it unfolds, using the natural environment as a space for contemplation and transformation.
This sketch is charcoal and graphite on paper.
This print is on heavy, glossy 68 lb paper.
